NURTURING CURIOUS MINDS;

FOSTERING MEANINGFUL EXPLORATION

Beyond Classroom Learning

Explorer Junior is an impact-driven education business that creates positive spaces & opportunities for 5 to 12 years old children from different socio-economic backgrounds to explore beyond classrooms and build meaningful experiences together.

We believe that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to education and we can develop 21st-century skills beyond academic excellence. Our team designs and delivers STEAM and Digital Literacy programs as well as provides afterschool services that aim to build life-long competencies that will help our explorers navigate through their lives beyond academic years.

Explorer Junior was incubated at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Enterprise in 2014 and have received globally recognized accolades such as STEAMEX Gold Awards Winner in 2020 and STEM.org Accreditation in 2022.

We have more than 6 years of experience nurturing 5000+ explorers from Singapore, Jakarta, Indonesia, and Shenzhen, China.

STEAM Skills Mastery &
21st Century Competencies Development

In the age of AI (Artificial Intelligence), STEAM subjects and soft skills like analytical thinking will be key for the jobs of tomorrow, according to the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs report

Besides developing a good grasp of technical knowledge in STEAM subjects, we aim to equip our explorers with necessary 21st-century competencies - also known as the Explorer Mindset. We believe that these competencies will help them navigate in the VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) world we live in today where there is demand for roles to differentiate and need to bridge the gaps between humans and machines.

Raising Digital Creators

As we raise a generation of tech natives, our programs focus on enabling them with access to digital tools and skillsets to create solutions for different problems. We hope to raise children who can use their screen time meaningfully and be creators of technology instead of just consumers.

The different learning pathways offered - Junior Game Designer, Jr Architect and Jr Digital Artist aim to cater to explorers with different interests and talents and nurture them become resourceful digital creators.

Impact - Driven

"What problem would you like to solve?"

We believe in nurturing our students to be lifelong creators of technology - problem solvers, designers and makers who will leave a positive impact with their knowledge

and competencies.

With a problem-based curriculum, we get our students to embark on projects that are anchored on social or environmental issues they are familiar with and get them to develop creative solutions.

How do we do it?

We do so through:

Problem-based Learning

Through adopting a problem-based learning approach, we develop critical thinking skills of our students as they focus on authentic real-life problems and community issues.

We believe this helps children gain confidence and learn skill sets to tackle any problems that come their way.
