Service Description

Calling all young space explorers! - Have you wondered how is rocket built & launched into space? - How does Earth look like from an International Space Station (ISS)? - How to astronauts live in ISS? - Can plants grow in space which does not have gravity? - What happens when solar panels of ISS break down, how can it be repaired? Join us for our 5-days Jr Architect Minecraft Bootcamp! You will get to learn more about these topics and have a chance to build your rockets, ISS and learn how to code your agents to repair the solar panels for you! Session details: Age: 8 - 12 Years Old Date/Time: 27 -Nov - 1 Dec, 9.30am - 12.30pm Location: Bravefeats @ Bedok What will you be doing? - Learn and Understand NASA's space missions; design, build and launch a rocket for a crew in Minecraft based on a budget - Learn and understand how Earth looks like from an ISS and Recreate a specific landform on Earth in Minecraft - Learn and understand living in ISS in space. Do astronauts get bored? How do they live in space? Design & create a living space for astronauts in Minecraft! - Can plants grow in space which does not have gravity? Design & build a space container to grow plants! -What happens when solar energy panels break down? Design and code your agents to build/replace the solar panels! - Participants stand a chance to win different prizes! What can you look forward to? - Learn 3D building with Google Jamboard and Minecraft Education Edition - Collaborate with fellow Explorers in groups and work on their final project - Have fun while Unleashing your creativity and problem-solving skills And more! Requirements: - All participants should have basic computer literacy skills and should be able to navigate comfortably with the mouse on the computer. - All participants are required to bring along their own laptop, mouse, and earpiece/headphone for the camp.
