Calling all inventors! Join us for our Da Vinci Inventors Camp now! This is a 5-day holiday camp that blends Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Technology, and Art as Explorers learn about and recreate Da Vinci’s great inventions. During the camp, Explorers will be exposed to Da Vinci’s different inventions such as Fresco painting, Parachutes, Catapults, Aeroplanes, and more. Getting inspiration from the great inventor, Explorers will put their creativity to use and embark on a sculpting challenge at the end of the camp. Session details: Age: 7 - 10 Years Old Date: 30 May - 3 Jun 2022 Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm (GMT +8) Location: Explorer Junior @ Blk 304 Ubi Ave 1, #01-85, S400304 During the camp, Explorers will: - Practice the art of Mirror Writing to simulate the mysterious ways Da Vinci jotted down his notes about his inventions and musings - Learn about the Vitruvian Man and the principle of balance in creations - Execute a unique style of painting that was prominent during Da Vinci’s era - Fresco Painting and create their own self-portrait - Study the history of the modern inventions we know of today, such as parachutes and catapults - Get their hands-on and create their own machines just like Da Vinci did - Put their creativity to use as they try to sculpt a prototype to solve a challenge presented to them And more!
